Our Values
Our Approach
Compliance is complex, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It begins with human behavior, which means it requires human solutions. Our team of experts works with you to navigate complex regulations, prevent risks, and create strategies that adapt as your business and the industry evolve.
We make compliance work for you — so you can focus on moving your business forward.
Our History
Family-owned and operated since 1996, Gradient’s story began with a simple idea: transportation runs better — and safer — with compliance at the core. Glostone Trucking Solutions started with a focus on truck licensing, registration, and fuel tax compliance, while CleanFleet managed random drug and alcohol testing programs for FMCSA-regulated trucking and bus companies.
Led by Dave and Shirley Gray since 2001, Glostone grew from a small team of four to a trusted partner in transportation compliance. They brought in a second generation of leadership when their son Brian and his wife Heather joined the business — who helped expand the company’s reach even further by acquiring CleanFleet in 2011. When Dave retired in 2019, ownership passed to Brian and Heather, who set their sights on a new vision: to become national leaders in transportation compliance.
Now, with a bold new name, Gradient brings both companies together under one brand. With our powers combined, we’ve created a stronger, unified partner to help even more businesses and operators navigate compliance, scale with regulatory demands, and achieve a safer world.
We’re still the team you trust: a group of critical thinkers and problem-solvers who treat your business like our own. With every challenge we tackle together, we prove that safeguarding isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are.
